The Mary S. Sigourney Award Trust

I am delighted, as Treasurer of the Amerrican Psychoanalytic Association and a co-trustee of the Sigourney Trust to welcome these four exemplary psychoanlsysts, all members of the American Psychoanalytic Association as winners of the awards and honorees at a dinner on January 14, 2010. The judging, in the hands of independent psychoanalysts who have perused the recipients varied and significant additions to the literature, contributes to the significance of the recognition. I applaud all four for their efforts on behalf of psychoanalysis.
